Post 5: Changes to my Study Program

Despite the few time I have been in dentistry and that my first year was online, at some point I thought that some change in my study program could improve the career.

At least I know that the courses i had in my first year are necessary, and I would not change them but I would focus them in a different way than the one I had, maybe it is because I had to take them online and that makes learning a little difficult for someone who learns in a more practical way like me, even though the subject was also quite theoretical.

In my second year there are some subjects that I would like to combine because they could complement each other.

Regarding the academic load I feel that out of the 3 semesters I have had, all of them had a high academic load and it takes me a lot of time to study, so i have tried to balance my study times a little bit to be able to take a little rest and not stress myself too much.

And also by having simulation practicals and having to go face to face it helps me to learn better, and I have been able to get to know the infrastructure of my faculty, such as the library, the casino, the rooms, the preclinic, etc., not to mention the facilties.

The use of technologies in my career, has more to do with the ways of study, and how they are used to learn and teaching methods that have teachers can be complemented and improved with certain technological products, such as tablet to take notes in class in the same presentations, it makes it easier to have more information available digitally.
