Post 1: A Country I would like to visit

I would like to visit Italy, specifically Venice, I always thought that this city was very interesting, because of its "streets"  are channels, I would like to go down for "el Gran Canal" on vaporetto because I can visit other places in the city like the Palacio Ca' d'Oro o la Iglesia Santa Maria della Salute, I heard that this city have floods in certain seasons by Climate Change, is sad, because is a beautiful city.  I would like live there for a time, and can go all over to meet more people and customs of the beautiful place.

Post 8: A Subject you've enjoyed studying this semester

My favorite subject in this semester was “Desarrollo de Destrezas y Autocuidado para el Ejercicio Profesional II” because it is the subject where they teach the part that most caught my attention of the career, for which I liked dentistry.

In those classes, first, they teach us about the materials that we are going to occupy later, both in the semester and in our professional future and in the practical steps we can prepare some mixtures, as we are still in pandemic, we must adapt some things, but it still serves to understand the preparation procedure.

This semester I saw restorations with different materials, such as zinc eugenate, properties of those same materials, such as ionomer glass, mixtures of elastic and rigid printing materials, such as alginate, elastomer and yeso.

I like this subject more because it is the closest thing in this semester to what I will do when I graduate and can practice, fortunately now we can have practical in the faculty that are very good I have learned more, it is fun and that brings it even closer to the professional experience of my career.

Post 7: Career-Related Website

More than a website is a page on Instagram called "andyystudies" which is a page of a dental student named Andrea Castañeda that makes illustrations of anatomy related to our career, which makes you can better understand certain parts of the anatomy and in a clearer and more concise way, so that any student can understand.

At the beginning of his publications were photographs of his handmade notes very nice, and very neat, and that were very well understood, then in his most recent publications his notes are digital, and some are images of parts of the anatomy of the dentistry area and others are explaining some topics in a simpler way.

I follow this page from the beginning of the second semester more or less, and it has helped me a lot, I visit the site about once or twice a week because it helps me to study anatomy or to see if you have a topic that I need for an assignment.

Post 6: How can your major make the world a better place

The main reason I went into dentistry was to help those closest to me, and that made me think that if they had these problems, there may be many more people who need this kind of help.

Dentistry can change people's lives, mainly in their self-esteem, since smiling is one of the things that most people feel self-conscious about, and I have heard of many people who do not smile out of embarrassment, and maybe this career can make the world a little happier.

I see myself in the process of helping patients feel more confident when they smile, working for them, is my greatest motivation to continue studying every day.

My career can help people to improve their self-esteem, but not only that, but it can also help people to have a better quality of life with respect to their diet, so that they do not have any discomfort or difficulty when eating.

Post 5: A photograph and its story

This is a photograph of my dog Nina, this photo for me means the beauty of life in the simple, because something as simple as this photo her gives me joy and tenderness.

We adopted her in April of this year, when she only had one month to live, I chose this photograph because she tends to always be moving, but right in this photo she stood still looking at the camera, that's why it's my favorite photo of her.

This photo was taken with my camera at my grandfather's house, we could not leave it alone even because it was very small, it made a lot of mess, but before taking this photo she was crying because she did not want to be alone, but since we were in grandfather's house I could not leave her free, so she was in a room, I went to see her so she wouldn't cry, and I was with the camera because she had to take pictures for a task, and I realized that I caught her attention, I took this picture of her and she continued to play with the vest she had behind her.

Now she grew more but she's still just as cute and messy.

Post 4: A Meal or Food you really like

Thinking about a single favorite food is hard for me, because I like ao meny types of foods, but my favorite food is white noodles with mongolian meat, much people eat this mongolian meat with rice, but I prefer the white noodles.

The noodles are simple, but prepare the mongolian meat, is few hard by the seasoning, for prepare the mongolian meat you need, pork meat, chives, soy, garlic, salt and oil, the difficult thing is the proportion and the cooking time to make it delicious.

I like this food for salty taste, that combine with soy, maybe is not good for my health because is very seasoned, although that's why is its delicious taste and consistency, but I don't eat often becuase I don't prepare it, so just eat when my mom prepares it and it very exquisite.

In the future I would like to know how to prepare it, to make it look good ande delicious. 

Post 3: My favourite piece of technology

It's hard to choose one favourite piece of technology, because we surrounded by technology, for example our smartphone, personally, I use my phone in every moment of day, for much things.

But if I have to choose one, I choose my compact camera, my dad gave mi his camera thsi year for a photography course, since that day I always have it close to me.

I use it in a very simple way, I just turn on the camera anta take a photo of the landscape that I think that are beautiful when I travel, I use the camera everytime when get out of my house.

I like the compact camera, because it is very easy to use ant transport it, also in this time in not use it commonly one camera, because everyone have a smartphones with good cameras and that makes it unique for me.

My life without my camera, would be less interesting and I wouldn't take the time for appreciate the beauty of the life.
